I happen to prefer Elizabeth to Elisabeth (even though Elizabeth is far more common); in fact, Elizabeth is probbaly my favorite feminine name. I don't know--I think I just like the 'z'. And I also admire Queen Elizabeth I. My favorite first + middle combo is Elizabeth Everly, and I like the nickname Lilly. Libby is fine too, I guess. But I'd want to stay as far away from Liz/Lizzie as possible.
