It just makes me think of the Tudor dynasty. I don't like it as a name.

I know someone named Tudor! He's in his late 20s. And I like the name. :)

All I can think of are the Tudors of history, but I think it's an interesting member of the Theodore family.

I like the name. Not to the point I'd ever use it, but I think there are worse names out there. And I like the Romanian pronunciation better.

I like it. I'm not sure I'd ever use it, though. I like the Welsh forms better-- Tewdwr or Tudur. For some reason Tudor looks kind of pretentious in English.

As in the royal family? I don't care for it. Reminds me of Henry VIII.

Tudor houses. A two door car. I think that Tudor could work with the right last name, on someone in a non-English speaking country, or on a character in a story. It's not exactly my style but I could see myself using it in a story. It's an OK name.

Does anyone know if it is pronounced differently in Romanian? That would change things, too.

NMS but culturally awesome. I would've chosen Teodor but then again I'm not Romanian ;o)

I think of Henry VIII, Mary I, Elizabeth I. I wouldn't use it.
