I really like Emily, which is surprising since you hear it everywhere. (I can't believe you don't know many of them!) I agree it does have a quiet elegance about it, and it's very busy and loving and prairie-ish.Emily Sigrid is very pretty.

Different areas I suppose.Growing up I knew a few Emilys but I haven't met any children with the name. Just lots of Emmas. The odd thing is that I didn't think the association with my ex's sister was enough to keep me from using the name...until I started saying it often in my head. :-( Now I can't help but think of her.

I don't think I know any Emilys younger than 20. It seemed like there were always plenty my age, though. I don't think I know any Emmas, either. But I suppose I don't know a whole lot of little kids.
