I don't think it would be odd unless I lived in Italy... I think most americans will be oblivious to the italian pronunciation (unless they are hard core italians themselves... and by this I mean off the boat, or maybe one generation removed from off the boat). LOL>

spanish & italian both romance languages.. I don't think lu-see-ah is too much of a stretch. I actually think a lot of people will think my preferred pronunciation is the italian version. People are generally clueless I have found... :)
