Loyal
I talked to a guy named Loyal yesterday. Really nice guy. I asked him if there was a story behind his name. He said that he was named after his father, but he has no idea why his father was named Loyal. He said he is frequently asked about his name, and that he's embarrassed that he doesn't know anything about the reasons his father was given such an unusual name.I have to admit, I rather like it! What do you think of Loyal as a first name?

It's a little hokey, but it's alright.
I'm not a big fan of names that have more than one L or R in them because of the sound.

I find most names with a very obvious meaning slightly silly. I can't help imagining how awkward it would be if someone named Loyal turned out to do something really disloyal.

I much prefer Royal (primarily due to association) and Noble.

It's neato. The sound isn't the most pleasant but I like it better than Royal and I think it works well as a word name

It's quirky, that's for sure. I prefer Royal, but Loyal is kind of cool in its own way.

I like it, I think it would work nicely; perhaps it would make a better mn though?

I love it! I have met a Royal and a Noble, I think this goes right along with them!
