Sophie
Lately, I've been liking Sophie, but do you think she'd be surrounded by too many girls with her same name?

No. Sophie is awesome, and it's a better spelling then Sofie or Sofy or even Sophy. I like it better than Sopia/Sophia. And if you have another girl, she could be called Jaimey. That would be a good-sounding name for a middle name, too, but there's also Abby and Kalista/Calista for a middle name. I used to like the name Sophie Kadence, but now I HATE Kadence, so don't use Kadence!

There will probably be a few other Sophie's. And a bunch of Zhophie's. BUt Sophie is a nice name and I don't think that should stop you using the name :-)

Here in Australia, it's quite the possibility. Sophie is a fairly popular name, but that said, there are more common names than Sophie.

PossiblyI mean, Sophia is becoming extremely popular right now and I'm sure quite a few of those Sophia's will go by Sophie at some point in their life. It's also kind of like naming your child Avia in a sea of girls named Ava. It's different, but similar enough to not seem very unique.

Well, yes and no. Sohpie, Sophia Sofia are all in the top 100 I think so the name and any variant are fairly popular, It's a gorgeous name but I guess it just depends on if you care about popularity...

It may not be as much of a problem as Sophia, judging by the fact that Sophia is higher up on the popularity ranks. (Sophia being at #4, Sophie at #65)
