WDYT of Bonnie?
After seeing Toy Story 3 for the 2nd time, I realized that I love the name Bonnie for a girl. I think it's great; classic yet spunky, and somehow pretty at the same time. Plus, I think it would be cute on a little girl. I'd previously thought of it as a name for a middle-aged women trying (and failing) to maintain her youth. Now I think it's perfect for a child (and since it's so simple, it also ages well). Do you like any of these combos?
Bonnie Amelie
Bonnie Ceridwen
Bonnie Damaris
Bonnie Ginevra (LOVE IT!)
Bonnie Gwenevere
Bonnie Iris
Bonnie Josephine
Bonnie Juliet
Bonnie Katherine
Bonnie Kerensa
Bonnie Lavender
Bonnie Lilac
Bonnie Linnea
Bonnie Madeline (line, not lyn)
Bonnie Margaux
Bonnie Philomena (so pretty)
Bonnie Vivian
Of those, I think my favorites are Bonnie Ginevra, Bonnie Juliet, Bonnie Kerensa and Bonnie Madeline, but of course I really like all of them. Opinions? Feedback?

I can't get the song "My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean" out of my head. It's in the same league as Laddie or Lassie, good names for a dog, but way too cutesy as a legal name for a person.

It's cute without being too cutesy. I wouldn't mind encountering more little girls named Bonnie.
Out of your combos, these are my favorites:
Bonnie Ceridwen
Bonnie Ginevra
Bonnie Iris
Bonnie Kerensa
Bonnie Lilac
Bonnie Linnea
Bonnie Margaux
Bonnie Vivian
One of the three syllable middle names would sound the best with Bonnie.

my grandma
It isn't her real name, its just what she goes by. I think its too infantile and cutesie to be used as a legal name

Haha, I have been in the same boat with Bonnie. Minus the Toy Story changing my mind. It's quickly becoming a favorite of mine, now.
Bonnie Ginevra is wonderous and they're perfect together. Know why? (I'm thinking we're on the same wavelength with that.)
A lot of these are great and have exactly the image I think you're looking for. What I like in it is a bit different, but I do also like Bonnie Lavender and Bonnie Philomena a lot!

Oh, now that you mention it I do remember that! But I really don't follow the movies much. I see them once in theaters, complain about the stuff they left out and then never watch them again haha. That does make the combo somewhat ironic, though. Still, I love it.
Ha!
I actually didn't read the books until the summer Deathly Hallows came out, but I'd seen all the movies up until then (the first 4, I think). And of course I love the books even more, but I think because of that I don't have major issue with what they've done differently in the movies.
Anyway, I was just reminded of those who only watch the movies. When we were in the theatre waiting to see Order of the Phoenix, these two teenage girls behind us were talking about how they say Harry kiss a girl on the preview and were so excited to see what happens with that. I wanted to laugh out loud.

I agree with your comments. I never thought it was a realistic name for anything but a cow, until I met a Bonnie and thought 'Huh, it does work IRL!'. I like Bonnie Kerensa, Bonnie Juliet, Bonnie Margaux, Bonnie Josephine (I don't even like Josephine, but these names go together perfectly), Bonnie Madeline, Bonnie Lilac, and Bonnie Lavender.
I also like Bonnie Susan, Bonnie Susanna, Bonnie Julia, Bonnie Lucinda, Bonnie Lucia, Bonnie Roseanna, Bonnie Rose, Bonnie Charlotte, and Bonnie Carol.
ETA- I missed Bonnie Katherine. I like that one too. And I'm also adding Bonnie June and Bonnie Juniper :)
