Apollo?
(Here I am again trying out different names)
What do you think of Apollo? Is it normal enough? Too weird? Am I crazy for considering it? As a brother to Sebastian and Oliver? In my quest to find something different but normal I came across this one and loved it, but is it too weird with my other boys?

I like mythological names, but the big "head hancho" gods seem a little tacky as first names on real people. Athena, Apollo, or Zeus would be just a wee bit over-the-top on a person.
I like the names, however, and I would like meeting an Apollo. I'd just be afraid to use it myself.

I find it too weird, honestly, and would be awkward on someone who's not very good-looking.
LOL.. We don't have to worry about my kids being bad-looking! And I'm totally not just saying that because their my kids! LMAO
An Apollo recently delievered my pizza.
I was pretty excited by his name!
I honestly think that Apollo is fine. I really don't think there are any truly unusable names left anymore. Religions & cultures have completely collided in our very modern world and people have been exposed to everything. Apollo might raise a few eyebrows but that's it. It's familiar enough for everyone to know how to pronounce it and spell it, which is an added bonus. Sebastian and Oliver are a little more mainstream than Apollo. However I'm Haven and my siblings are Jessica, Ben and Chris. :-D

I'd totally use it as a mn. I'm not quite brave enough to use it as a fn, but if I met one I'd be very pleased indeed :)
Sebastian, Oliver and Apollo... Not sure what I think. If he had a very normal mn and Sebastian and Oliver had slightly less normal mn's.

Makes me think space ship movie.
It calls to mind the character from Battlestar Galactica too much for me to use. He was hot, though.
I think Apollo is an excellent name. The namesake is obviously beyond cool, and it actually does look and sound very nice with Sebastian and Oliver. Plus, he can always go by the nickname Paul, which is plenty "normal". I see nothing wrong with it.
eh.. nn Paul wouldn't be OK with me (bad association). what other nn's could be used? Lo? Ap? haha.
Apo (like a little kid saying 'apple')
:o)
