Regan = REEgan; Reagan = RAYgan.
I don't enjoy lnfns, and US presidential ones in particular. Fine if a name is in the family, but even then, better as a mn.
Reagan for a boy, I suppose, if anyone wanted to. Definitely Regan for a girl, after the nasty princess in King Lear, though you couldn't call her a role model.
