No, but words with a German origin or root form...

...will pronounce words with an "sch" like "sh". It just so happens that the word "school" has middle Dutch roots, so like Schuyler, it's pronounced with a "sk". An honest mistake for anyone to make if they'd never heard Schuyler pronounced before. :)
