My neck hurtsMy neck hurts just thinking about it. My first mental association is with screeching tires, on a particular day in the past in which I was unlucky.I wonder what the story behind the name choice is. Unless the parents simply thought they were being funny, there must be one.

Ouch.... Being named after an injury stinks mega-time.

his parents must be hard coreOr were hard core at one time. That reminds me of two kids my mom taught whose parents were bikers. Their names were Nitro and Cruz.

Oh poor guy! Is it deffo not a nickname he's been given? If it is his real name it's horrible.

Oh. I thought you got whiplash because you came across an awesome name. I was all set to be impressed. It took me a minute to realize that Whiplash IS the name. Hate it. It's a joke that isn't funny. If the parents wanted to use it, they should have changed their own name. It's not fair to give a child. And if by some weird, bizarro chance this is a family surname and they wanted to hand down heritage, then I'm still against it. There are some surnames that just can't be used.

XD Sorry. I prefer to put the name as the title because it might not be as horrible or awesome to some.I agree- honoring a family name doesn't even justify it. And jokes shouldn't ever be given to children as names.
