Miles or Milo?
Miles or Milo?
And why?
Thoughts on both?

Milo being a chocolate drink where I live, Miles for sure.
I've know a couple of nice Miles guys, and I like the sound of it, but not enough to use myself.

Miles
Milo sounds like a dog's name. Miles I think is very cute, but could definitely grow with a person and is very timeless.

Depends what you pair them w/. I find Miles a bit more dignified and Milo almost hillbillyish... that's just my feel though.
You may view Milo any way that you wish, but I live on the Georgia/South Carolina boarder and sadly this means that live among "hillbillies." I promise you, they wouldn't dream of using a name as wimpy/nancy as Milo. They're the people using names like Jayden/Hayden/Kayden like the rest of the world or biblical names... like the rest of the world.
Milo doesn't seem anywhere near as whimpy as Jayden, Hayden and Kayden do when spelled that way... They just have preppy written all over them... not to be offensive or anything, but that's the image those names give. Perhaps what I was trying to say was that "Milo and Otis" is the first thing that comes to mind when I see it and from there, I think countrish...
Milo. I just prefer the sound & feel of it.
:)
:)
Miles!!
It's pretty close but Miles beats out Milo. But I really like them both al lot.

Milo
No real reason, I just like it. The"o"ending, perhaps.

Milo
I know so many kids named Miles it's ridiculous and the majority of them aren't people I would want to associate anyone with. Seriously, Miles and Zachary are two names that are just littered around my school. Milo may not be a solid as Miles but I think it makes up for it in personality while Miles seems very flat to me.

Milo, NN Miles.
That way, you can have both. :)

Really? I would've thought the opposite. Miles nn Milo.
Me too...

I'm pretty neutral on both.
I like the both about equally. Neither are my particular favorites but I do think they're both friendly, pleasant little names.
I might lean more towards Miles, if I had to choose. It sounds like more of a "grown-up" name; Milo is a a bit younger and quirkier, I think.
Depends on the intended combo, too. Milo William sounds better to me than Miles William, for example, but Miles Richard hits the mark more than Milo Richard.

I slightly prefer Milo, but I like both. I think Miles could be a nickname for Milo, so you could have it both ways.

Both are great names, though.

I like both names, but somehow Miles seems a little more dignified than Milo.
I may also be biased by musician Miles Davis and the movie Sideways. (The movie character Miles is flawed, but I like him.)

Milo
Milo is sweet!
Miles however, isn't my style at all. I find it rather dull, boring and..dated?

Milo, Milo, MILO!
I know some might see Milo as 'trendy', but I actually think it's old fashioned and stately, that's the impression I get from it and partly why I adore it. The soft 'o' ending is lovely. Very handsome name.
Also, Milo reminds me of Mila (even though I know Milan is the masc. form of Mila). I know on this sight Milo is classified at a German & English name, but I like to think it's related in some way to Mila because the meaning behind Mila is so gorgeous.
Miles is nms at all.
