Astrophel is a very unusual name. I probably would never use it, but I think maybe for a pet, like a cat or a parrot.

I agree, I could never use it on a RL child; reminds me too much of "astroturf" or the Houston "Astro fell" before he could reach the endzone. That being said, there is a part of me that loves the way the syllables fall on my tongue. :o)
