Althea or Anthea?
I can never decide which I like more. Which do you like more?

Althea
Both are pretty names, but I prefer Althea. It has such a nice ring to it.
Tricky. I knew two Antheas at school, nice people, and I've never known an Althea, but I think I'd go the Althea route if I ever had to. And I've got no idea why!
Althea.
I like both, but definitely/strongly prefer Althea.
I prefer Althea ("al-THEE-uh") because I don't like the sound of Anthea ("ANN-thee-uh").
These are how I've heard them pronounced, but I can see how there could be different ways to say them. "ann-THEE-uh" still isn't as nice to my ears as "al-THEE-uh." Plus, I was a huge tennis fan growing up and the Althea Gibson association is sweet.

I like Althea more because I prefer the pronunciation al-THAY-ah to AN-thee-ah. I like them both though.
