Roman goddesses of victory are not to be trifled with (m)

Yes. I go on and on to others about how one association shouldn't be held against the innocent name itself. And I use Victoria all the time in combo suggestions. I even use it myself in a few favorite combos. (Wren Victoria, Victoria Alix) And now you've reminded me of the lovely Victoria Brooke (who goes by Brooke) as an inspiration! I shall not deviate from the path of light and reason again. :-)Besides, I've recently fallen in LOVE with the names Victoire and Victorine. It's just that when asked to choose between Victoria and Julia, I fell back on the sublimated criterea to justify my choice. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

LOL, you always make me smile, Ann.BTW, Brooke refused to take the name Victoire in beginning French class. Instead, she chose Renee. RENEE! I would have none of that so I call her Victoire whenever I can. ;-)

Victoire is soooo much more interesting than Renee. I'm with you. Here's a naughty thought. How about calling her Reine instead of Renee? Years of therapy you say? Ah well, if you don't have the stomach for this parenting thing I don't know why you bothered in the first place. :-)
