Seems kinda girly to me... esp. w/ the i ending on a western sounding name. Whatever spelling is used, I like Ricki better on a girl and prefer just Rick on a boy anyway.
Of course, if a friend of mine could be just Eddie, your son could be just Ricky. Takes a lot of arguing to convince people it's JUST the nn. sounding name- regardless of spelling- but can be done.

Creative spellings are usually imposed on little girls to distinguish them from the more conventional male nn. That's why Rikki will always be feminine for me, sorry.
