I live in Sweden.
Names goes in cycles. Names from the 1910s (like Astrid, Irma, Svea and more) are very "hip" in Sweden right now and was probably considered very dated 20-25 years ago. Gudrun was common in the 30s and 40s and will probably come back in style in about 20-30 years from now. :)

To me, Gudrun feels dated as in Medieval, not modern. But then I'm in the US, and an area that doesn't have many foreigners.
