Sabria
No this is not a typo, it's Sabria, not Sabrina ;)
I met a girl named this today, what do you think of Sabria?
How do you pronounce it? I say sah-BREE-a.
Do you think it will get confused with Sabrina all of the time and that I should avoid it because of that?
Do you know anyone with that name or do you know anything about its origin? I didn't have a chance to ask her.

I think it's nice and differnt to Sabrina, I think some people would get confused but I don'r think they would get very confused.
It looks like the name of a product, not a person, perhaps because it's so close to Sabra. I far prefer Sabrina!
I'd think it would get confused with Sabra more, but Sabrina is more popular (although we had two Sabra's at our school last year). I'd pronounce it Say-bree-ah.
I like it. It would get confused with Sabrina all the time, but I actually think it sounds better.
My initial thought is SAH-bree-ah, but I can see both pronunciations working. I don't know anything about the origin, but I like the name. Some people may misread it as Sabrina, but anyone who actually knows the child wouldn't make that mistake more than once or twice I would think.
