Pronunciation of Eulalie?
How do YOU pronounce Eulalie? Yoo-la-lee, yoo-LAY-lee, or some other way? BtN lists the pronunciation as uu-la-LEE, but 'yoo-LAY-lee' got the most votes on the poll...Which pronunciation do you prefer?Do you think that there would be too many pronunciation issues with the name?

I use you-LAY-lee, but then I use you-NEE-see for Eunice.Pronunciation issues? People can learn if they have to.

In French I would pronounce it like the guide on BtN but in English I have an urge to say yoo-LAY-lee.

I pronounce it and only like it as "yoo-lay-lee."

I pronounce the name, which I adore, "yoo-LAY-lee."I think that pronunciation is fairly intuitive -- however, people always find ways to butcher names...

Actually the correct pronunciation would be [you-lah-LEE]. The 'lay-lee' pronunciation would be the "butchered" one.

I pronounce it yoo-LAH-lee. I hadn't even noticed the BtN pronunciation before. I don't think I can say it anyother way.
