Saylor
I just discovered this name only a little while ago and instantly loved it. I like the spellings it could have: Saelir, Saylor, and Sailor. I imagine on either a boy or girl, but more on a girl. What does everyone else think of it?

Dire and dreadful.
I would spell the name Sailor, since its basically a noun being used as a name. I don't think swapping "i" for "y" improves it. The y also seems more feminine to me.
However, I think Sailor is rather uninteresting, like being named Lawyer or Cook or Athlete or Poet. Instead, I would pick a name associated with sailing, or water, or long journies.

Normally, I think I would say I didn't like it...but since I know a little boy named Saylor, I've softened to it.
I do think Sailor would be a better spelling, instead of just "Taylor with an S."

I do like Sailor on a boy, but only because I know a very cute toddler with this name :P
Saylor looks like a feminine spelling, and ity also looks too trendy IMO. Saelir just looks odd. I only like it on a boy spelled Sailor.

Sorry but I find it really tacky. Profession names are so not my cup of tea. Anyway, if you really want to use it at least spell it Sailor.
I can't see it as a name, because it's "sailor." I think of old-school, bell-bottom wearing sailors with white clothes and tattoos on their biceps.
I immediately thought of Sailor Moon as well (negative).
Makes me think of Sailor moon. I find it rather tacky. Ok as a fun nn, but silly as a real namee- esp. w/ that spelling. Very cheesy.

I'm with my dad. "Might as well name him/her Butcher."
Taylor but trashier... sorry...
Me too. Yicky.
ditto
Bleh.
Sailor is probably the only attractive spelling, and only because it's an actual spelling. Saelir is especially ugly.
The name itself is... eh. Maybe as a middle name.

I was thinking of it with a middle name too, but I dont know what first name would go nicely with it.
Tobias Sailor maybe? Or James Sailor (although Sailor James would sound better.) Or Matteo Sailor, William Sailor, Liam Sailor, David Sailor, Hakim Sailor, Lachlan Sailor, Dorian Sailor, Pietro Sailor, or Gideon Sailor.
