Alexei/Aleksei
Thought on the boys name Alexei? I have always been a fan of it.
Does it sound too feminine? Would spelling it Aleksei or Aleksey help?
Another thing I am worried about is pronounciation. How do you prn it?
Also, how does it sound with Andreas?
Thanks.

I love it so much. The pronunciation listed on BtN is right, but in English, I say a-LEX-ay. I like the spelling Aleksey the best, but no matter what the spelling it doesn't sound feminine. As for with Andreas, I think they're a little too similar to go together.
I really like it! I first heard it years ago- there's a very famous figure skater named Alexei Yagudin. (I grew up skating.)
I don't think it sounds too feminine.
I pronounce it "uh-LEX-say."
It's fine with Andreas, but too matchy for my tastes, personally.

I love it spelled Aleksey.
I think it's a great name!
For me, it doesn't sound too feminine... Even if it did, it's tradtionally male! In my opinion, Alexei would be more "conventional" than Aleksei or Aleksey.
Andreas and Alexei pair very well together!

I prefer Alexis. Alexei/Aleksey would be confusing in an English speaking would tend to pronounce it "Alexi".
Andreas and Alexis is a dream sibset. So handsome and elegant.

I love Alexei, but only this way.. Aleksei and Aleksey just help it look ridiculous. IMO.
