It makes me think of a muscular, bearded, old, white-haired man. I don't care for it, and don't think it sounds like Aidan.

I think it would be like naming your son Zeus or daughter Hera. Maybe in theory it's okay, but not in real life. I think it is similar to Aidan. Especially with all of the names ending in an/en/in/on right now. I wouldn't use it.

Odin is a powerful name with a very rich mythology behind it, but it's also very dark. I like it, but I would hesitate to give it to a person.

Interesting...
Not too similar to Aidan, I don't think. Kind of a cross between the popular names Aidan and Owen ...kind of. But more creative. I think I could like it.

I don't like it. I think it's silly on a human. I've known dogs named Oden/Odin.I don't think it's too similar to Aidan at all.

I like it. It's not something I would use myself but I'd like to see others use it. I much prefer it spelt Oden though.
Odin and Aidan are two completely different names. They are not similar at all in my opinion.

I like it; it sounds strong, but not overly macho. However, I don't think it would be easy to have in the real world, maybe as a middle name instead.I've never made the Aidan association; definitely not too similar.

I like it, in theory.Echoing what others have said: Odin would probably work better as a middle name, or paired with a more "normal" one. I don't think it's too similar to Aidan...
