Eliana?
Wdyt of Eliana?I have always loved it's meaning and I think it sounds beautiful. My only concern is that I don't like Ellie as a nn. I'd use the full name, do you think I could get away with it?Do you prefer Eliana over Liliana? I'd use Lilia as a nn for Liliana, if we decided to use it. Thanks. :)

I much prefer Eliana which is a lovely name! This is complicated, but my friend's boyfriend's mother is Eliana, and I just like the name even more because of that since she and the whole family is really nice.
Ellie wouldn't even cross my mind as a nn.

Eliana is my all-time favorite name for girls. Something about the meaning and the sound makes it really beautiful. It's almost too beautiful to use Ellie as a nickname. Ellie just sound so plain next to Eliana.

Eliana is lovely. I think you could get away with using the full name. You could also call her Liana, Lia, Ana, Ani, or Elle instead of Ellie. I prefer Eliana over Liliana, but both names are pretty.

I really like the sound and meaning of Eliana. It does save you from Liliana -- which is a nice name. But .... it does reminds one immediately of Lily, which popular. Eliana isn't really that long, I don't think anyone would shorten to Ellie & don't see why they would, given possible confusion with all the little Ellies without a longer name. They could be easily stopped if they tried. My parents always managed to prevent me from being called Dani.

Adore it. Eliana is one of my top female names of all time. You don't necessarily need to deal with Ellie unless SHE decides on that at some point. There are other nns: Elia, Lia, Liana, Ana, Annie, etc.Definitely prefer Eliana to Liliana which is more trendy and doesn't roll as smoothly off the tongue (at least it doesn't for me).

I love Eliana and I'd choose it over Liliana any day of the week. I think it's beautiful and ages well, you have many possibilities for nn (although I'd just stick to Eliana) and I love the meaning. For me it's a winner. A really special name that's not too popular but not too out there either. It's one of my fave names ever.

I like this name a lot! It fits both girls and woman...I think. I think it's very pretty. You could definitely get away with the full name instead of a nn. :)
I don't really like Liliana very much. :)

I like it. I think it is better than Liliana because Liliana is probably more popular, because of its similarity to Lily. I do like both though. You could definitely get away with the full name. You could also use nn's like Elia, Liana, and Ana.
