I'm not much a fan of 'k's, but that's personal. Most times I'll pick a 'c' over a 'k', regardless of which spelling is more common/accepted, I think they look softer. The only exception I can think of right now is Katherine, where I prefer it with a K because I think without it it tends to look a little wishy-washy. Caleb is quite strong as is, though.
