It's okay. I met a little girl named Delphine at my kids' gym class. It seemed sort of prissy, to be honest, but I had that name on my faves list for a while myself. For all I know she might have been from a French family, because my area has people from all over. They didn't speak with an accent, though.The actually-French little girls I've met, off topic for what it's worth, were Alizee (probably has an accent mark on it; mom Marion) and Manon. All the English speakers mispronounce Manon with the stress on the second syllable instead of the first.
