Not too close for twins... not a fan of Rhiannon (it's not very attractive to me)... Guess I'm not a fan of Mildred either, but it's not so bad as a mn and for all I know you could be honouring a grandma or aunt.Ruby and Rhiannon both have a bit of a trendy feel right now, but Ruby's ok 'cause it's otherwise solid. Rhiannon feels like it's popped up out of nowhere in the past few years and became a little trendy. Of course, if they went by their mns, they could escape that issue if you really like the names and wish to use them. (then people won't be going "oy vey... another set of parents thought they'd start their kids' names w/ the same letter" on account of them being unaware of the matter). Frances could go by nn Frankie. I usually don't like a lot of the "y/ie" nns, but for some reason, I like Frankie on a girl. Mildred could go by Millie if Mildred seems too old for a little girl, but Mildred could grow on a person.

I am not a fan of names starting with the same letter for twins but Ruby and Rhiannon are very different and work I think. I love Ruby Frances and I love Rhiannon(it's my niece's name). I really dislike Mildred.

I'm not a huge fan of twins having same first initial, so I'd say they're a little close. Plus the mns would probably be made fun of nowadays, due to Frances and Mildred being very old-fashioned. Plus, Mildred just sounds weird to me. Rhiannon Camilla or Amelia Rhiannon would be pretty.

No, I don't think they're too similar. Sure, they both start with the same letter, but they sound distinct enough to avoid confusion. I think they're nice names for sisters.

Not at all - I don't like Ruby as much as Rhiannon, but they're not similar. Frances deserves more attention - it's a classic waiting for rediscovery; not at all keen on Mildred, and prefer Millicent or Mireille.

I don't necessarily mind names starting with the same letter for twins so long as the names themselves aren't rhyming, matchy, or practically the same. Ruby and Rhiannon sound very nice for twins.

I think they work well for twins. They aren't similar in my opinion at all.I love Ruby! It's one of my favorite names. The rest ams, but they work well together.

I don't think they're too close. I don't love either name but there's nothing wrong with them either.
