Yuck! It's ok as a surname, but I think it's ugly as a given name... esp. on a girl... seems too boyish somehow.

I like it, I have a friend whose daughter's name is Pyper (which I don't like the spelling of).
It does remind me of the TV show Charmed - however, I think it's pretty and I just like the sound.

I love it as a middle name. I love Ruby Piper. As a first name, I think Piper Rochelle could work.

I also liked Piper, but the TV show "Charmed" ruined it for me.

I know it's really over the top, but Piper Melody popped into my head and I actually kind of like it.

I used to like Piper, from actress Piper Laurie. But then it got so popular that the edge left it for me. Besides, it always struch me more as a nn than a formal name.

I dont like Piper i think its over hyped. I know alot of people who like it but to me it just doesn't equate to a pretty name. I think people feel its a cute name for a little girl. Piper to me would be awkward as an aadult.

I quite like it. Doubt I'd ever consider using it though.
