What a nice name, definitely love it. I first heard it in a story and it grew on me, now one of my GP names :)

Carlotta is a very sexy name. I think of a 19th century Spanish woman traveling from country to country, seducing kings and emperors, much like Lola Montez...but I think she was actually Irish. Anyway, you get the idea.

All I can think of is the one from The Phantom of the Opera.

I think Carlotta's pretty. I didn't see the carrot connection until you mentioned it, and I still don't think they're all that close. Charlotta is attractive too.
