I like Flavia. I like that it is an old Roman name and I like the meaning (golden). But I don't know if it is close to some "bad" word in English. I associate with "flavour" which I don't find bad. And I think Via would be a nice nn.
Genereally F-names do not seem to be popular, apart from Fiona, Felicity and Francesca.
