Ophelian & Flora
Ophelian & Flora.
Co-dependent toddler twins in a story of mine.
Opinions on their names?
Thanks!

is Ophelian a boy? It's neat - sounds like someone made a religion based on Ophelia and Ophelians are the devotees. Flora is lovely, one of my faves. I wonder if Ophelius & Flora might not be a touch stronger.... or Laertes & Flora. or Polonius & Flora. I don't know why Ophelian & Flora doesn't resonate with me as much as those other options. I think it's the "ian" ending, it makes the name so light and floaty and I feel like this pair needs a great booming echo of strength and togetherness. Like you can't help but add "...and Flora" whenever you say it, like it can't stand alone. Ophelius & Flora really gives me that feeling.
Cool names!

Yes, Ophélian is a boy. I stole it from CN's GP list.
I have tried to look it up, but mostly because there is a band called Ophélian, I've gotten nothing but things about them.
Ophelius & Flora may do the trick. I haven't decided for sure, but I see what you're saying. It like the idea that they don't sound believable, irl. I like that when you say them, they must be said together. I need you to have the sense that they can't stand alone, so I'll work on that.
Thanks for the help!
