I wen to school with a Qiana (pronounced the same way). She was great, and the name suited her personality, but it really isn't the style of name I prefer. I don't know if it's tacky/trashy, per se, but I can easily see how it can get that rap of a made up sort of name. I think the carrier of the name plays a large part in that perception.
