It would be a nice way to honor any family that came through Brooklyn, NY. I would never use it but it has crossed my mind since my parents were born in Brooklyn, as was my grandparents, and my great grandparents lived there when first coming to this country.

My sister is due in January with a girl and is choosing either Rachel Nicole or Ava Brooke.

I love Brooke, and yes, it is hard to find a middle name to fit with it. Brooke Lynn sounds so-so, but if it's to honor family I'd definitely use it.

I love the name Brooklyn, and my favorite mn with that is Cassidy. So no, I don't like Brooke Lynn together

I like it a lot. Brooke Lynn is really pretty, although it does sound like Brooklyn (but you could say my sisters name sounds like Caitlin: shes called Kate Lynne)

Yes I'd say Brooke Lynn sound fine so long as you don't run the two names together and make them one name because I find Brooklyn very trendy. You might also consider using two middle names instead of just using Lynn (like Grace Lynn, Maria Lynn, Abigail Lynn), or try adding another name to Lynn like Gracelynn or Roselynn), or you could hyphenate like Grace-Lynn or Maria-Lynn, or spell Lynn like Lynne.

It sounds ok, not anything I would pick (Brooke only makes me think of a character on "The Bold & the Beautiful), but not bad combo.
