I really like Sonja, and I prefer that spelling BUT I'm Swedish and in Swedish the J is soft, so it is pronounced as one in English would Sonya. So if I wanted to use the name myself I would probably lean towards Sonya to not have the pronounciation issue, eventhough I like Sonja better. ( I have the same problem with Katja / Katya )
Sonia I don't like.Lorna is pretty nice, but I think it would do better as a MN.
