Re: Sara?
in reply to a message by Evie.
I think that there's nothing inherently wrong with it at all. It's old, classic, Biblical, and pretty. The problem is that I have known so many that I am sick of it. I have known nine or ten Saras or Sarahs. It got to the point that my group of friends always had to say Sara\Sarah Lastname so we knew which one we were talking about. Truthfully, if we didn't do that, we wouldn't have known who the other person was referring to.So it's a name that I got so sick of hearing that it's just about caused me to dislike it. Maybe it's just very common where I live, which is the American South. So if it's not too common where you life, then it's a great name.I prefer Sarah to Sara, however.
