Isn't chyle the name given to food when it's half digested? I think it is, and it really puts me right off. If you enjoy a name that sounds like shy-ler, what about Schuyler? Chyler will automatically be pronounced like chy-ler, so you'd have a lot of explaining to do anyway.
It's not one of my favorites. I'm turned off by the sound of it, and also by the fact that it is mildly trendy.
I'd only seen it once before and didn't know how it was pronounced. A couple of months ago, we got an invitation to a baby shower for a little girl named Chyler Rain. Turns out, we didn't even know who these people were and after some checking, I discovered that she was the dd of the man who was the father of the ds of my dh's first cousin (got all that?!). We were just names on a list to them. (We didn't attend.)
Anyway, I don't really care for the tryndiness or the way Chyler looks. Nor do I like the 'shy' sound in a name.

Looks like Chrysler.
I would have pronounced it Kyler.
I would have pronounced it Kyler.
I don't like it at all. It looks made-up and sounds unattractive.
Second this.
I like it pronounced Ky-ler.
Sounds like Schuyler / Skyler / Skylar. I would go with any of those spellings instead
