Not bad, but shortens to Jon or (where I live anyway) Jonty which is less good. I find the rhythm heavy somehow; and I had a colleague once who collected the various spelling errors people made: his favourite was Jonathon, as he said, like a very long race.Jonathan Albert; Jonathan Gareth; Jonathan Patrick; Jonathan Richard.
