I like Piers, it's hip. It seems really urban and posh to me, but not in a snobby way. In like a literary hipster way. There is also something undeniably exotic about it - it has a real sexy Euro vibe. I will say that I immediately think of Piers Anthony the writer.

It makes me think of Pierce, which was my great-grandpa Pierre's nickname :) But Piers is more subtle and I think I like it better than Pierce.

I find it more French than English, definitely not middle-class. It's ok, it's not my favorite form of Peter, but it's still nice.
