Viola?
Viola is a newer name love for me. I really like it and Gwyneth Paltrow was so beautifiul in Shakespeare in Love.
I like the combos...
Viola Larkspur (But would Viola meaning Violet and Larkspur being a flower be too much nature?)
Viola Catherine
Viola Artemis
Viola JaneWDYT?P.s. Does Viola really mean rape in Spanish?

Book Spanish? No. Slang Spanish? No clue. Viola (vye-ola and not vee-ola) is nice. I like Viola Artemis.

I love Viola! It's really so lovely and flowery, and it reminds me of the slim, graceful Gwenyth Paltrow, just like you. (:
I think Viola Larkspur is gorgeous! Very subtly nature-y.
Viola Catherine is lovely--very classic with a flair.
Viola Artemis is so lovely! I really like Artemis with it. (:
Viola Jane is positively gorgeous. :DI've heard about the rape thing, too, but I'm not certain - I thought it referred to the violet flowers/freshly cut flowers/the type of violin.

It's close to the English violate, so it wouldn't surprise me.As for Viola Larkspur, if you think of Viola as a musical instrument instead of a small pansy, you'll be fine.I like Viola Catherine (surprisingly. I usually avoid Catherine) and Viola Jane.

My fave one is Viola Larkspur. It's soooo romantic and helps out Viola's otherwise harsh sound...

I adore the name Viola, but only with the British pronunciation, "VIE-uh-luh." It's been a while since I've seen "Shakespeare in Love," but I believe that is the same pronunciation. As long as it isn't, "vie-O-luh." Viola Larkspur is a tad nature-y. But my bigger problem with it is that the "L's" are too close together. It doesn't flow well. Viola Catherine and Viola Jane flow much better, even if they are a little on the "safe" side, combo-wise. Viola Artemis is interesting. That one could grow on me a lot. Are you interested in more combinations? I don't speak Spanish, but I've never heard that one as an objection to Viola before on these boards, for what that's worth.

Viola Larkspur is great, but it might be too many flowers (violas are flowers too)
Viola Catherine is great
I love Viola and Artemis, but I don't htink they go together.
Viola Jane is nice too.Don't know about Spanish but it's "viole" in French, so probably...
