I like it. It was my first choice for a boy IRL for a while. Now other names have moved above it on the list, but I still like it.

I think of it more as a word - a poetic adjective describing a forested place. So it's not that strong as a name, for me. But it's alright. I kinda like it. Sylvian or Sylvain is nice too.

I think of the tutoring center, but I like the sound of it.

Nice but, um... Sylvan Learning Center? Sylvian might work a bit better.

I like the name Sylvan, it's nifty. I like Sylvester more, but Sylvan is still pretty cool.
