Louisa or Louise?
Which one and why?

Louise is definitely second name.

Louise. I've always found Louisa too long, and annoying for pretending to be Latin when it most assuredly isn't. But, that said, a lot depends on the flow with the ln: Louisa Smith is better than Louise Smith.
If it was me, I'd seriously consider Eloise.

Louisa, as I prefer the 'ah' ending and think it sounds a little bit sweeter.
Louise. Not sure why.

Louisa, its much prettier :)
I prefer Louisa as a first name but Louise as a middle name. It's the flow, I guess.
Louisa
I just prefer the sound I guess. It's also a lot less common in my experience.
It also reminds me of The Sound of Music (perhaps just because I'm currently dressed up as Maria for a party tonight!).

I played Louisa in a play version of Sound of Music. :)
Louisa! I adore Louisa and it's one of few girl names I really like. I don't like Louise at all. I don't know why. Adding an A shouldn't make that much difference but it does. It's something about the look and sound of Louise that doesn't feel right to me.
Louise. I really hate Louisa.
