Sadie?
Do you know any full names for Sadie? Not Sarah because people in my area don't understand nicknames unless they are really obvious (ie for obvious: Mike-Michael. ie for not obvious: my name, Maggie-Margaret)So, full names for Sadie?

I was thinking about this yesterday - but sadly couldn't think of anything. I like Sadie lately :)

I know a Sadie, and I'm pretty sure it's her full name. I wouldn't have thought of Mercedes, but it works.
I thought that Maggie nn for Margaret was well known enough that people would get it, even if it isn't obvious.

I think it would be ok as a full name, most people don't even know it's a short form for anything. Mercedes "Sadie" and Isadora "Sadie" are both good suggestions. I think Mercedes would be the most straightforward choice, since the sah- in Isadora isn't exactly the same as the say- in Sadie, and would be a bit more of a stretch.

I prefer Sadie as a first name, but Mercedes "Sadie" is cute.

Isadora is my favorite full name for Sadie.

Isadora is a great suggestion. I suppose there's always some name that begins with Sa-, followed by a mn that begins with D. Sabina Diane, for example.

Oh I really like that idea!

I only really like it as a nn for Sarah. I think it can stand on its own though. The only other full version I can think of is Mercedes or possibly Sadia (although the proper pronunciation doesn't really lend itself to it but if you can go Sadie-Sarah, surely you can go Sadie-Sadia).

I thought Sadie was a full name on its own, rather than a shortened form of another name.
