Yes. I agree. I love the Irish part of Erin and love the Eireann spelling best of all. I would only use Aran as a substitute if that matters to you that is....
Then again..... if it doesn't matter and you just like the sound I suppose you could also use Ehren. Ehren is masculine but so rare in western circles that it wouldn't be readily recognized as such. I believe the meaning of Ehren is eagle.. prn just a bit different but at the end of the day, us USAers will prob just say it the same as Erin....
