Saul
Saul is the newest addition to my PNL and it has really been growing on me lately. I really like the sound and look of it. Not sure how usable it is though. I think it's more of a gp. Do you consider Saul dated?
What's your thought on the name Saul in general and what you think of the combo Saul Hudson (purely gp, I'm hoping I can get away with it)?

I rather like, but for me it's too "exotic" to use. Though maybe in Swedish it woulnd't really stick out as much as in Italian.
I think Saul is a nice name and definitely usable. I don't find it out of date at all and think it has a certain spunk that's nice. I don't even mind Saul Hudson, it has a nice ring to it.
Saul is super dated and that is why it rules. It's so dirty-thirties. It's like the name Harvey, you just know a baby Saul would be named after his salty grandpa who has a lot of opinions on everything and loves onions a little too much maybe.
I think it is totally usable and has mountains of hipster appeal. Saul Hudson is great, very strong, very bold. A Saul Hudson would be smart and tough and cause a ruckus.

I think of that character from "The Bold and the Beautiful", who worked at Sally Spectra's company as a tailor and was also the father of Darla. He was an old but kind man, so Saul does not really have a bad association for me - I just can't picture a little boy with this name, it seems too much of an old man name. But that may be just me, though. :)
I wouldn't use Saul because of the assocation with both Sauls in the Bible, but it does have a nice sound. It doesn't sound dated to me.
I don't think it's dated, but it sure is biblical. When I hear or see it all I can think of is an old lession I had in school where we learned about Saul...
I like Saul and I think it's usable. And Hudson has become one of my favorites is the last little while. Saul Hudson sounds pretty good to me - although if I was using Saul I'd pick something more classic for a middle name. You know, Alexander or Benjamin or Christopher...something like that.
