Oh, Angus. What a darling boy. Love it. It reminds me of my beloved, no-one-but-me-gets-it Fergus.
I never thought about the similarity between Angus : Innes and Agnes : Ines before. I have the same reaction to your question that I have to Agnes -- it depends on my mood. If I'm in a meat and potatoes, down to earth mood, then I like handsome Angus (or Agnes). But if I'm in a sophisticated, artsy, floating in the clouds kind of mood, then I like Innes (or Ines).
On a pratical level, Angus would be easier to live with since more people (here in the U.S.) have heard of it.
