Re: Kelly on a boy? (edited)

I LOVE it.
I honestly really respect any parent who uses a name that is considered "girly" on a boy. It is kind of like spitting in the face of all the stupid naming trends of today. Who needs name trends anyway? I think Kelly Joseph is AWESOME.
It was a boy name first and just because it has been used to death by the girls is no reason not to use it on a boy.
I am proud of her for not letting the rest of the thieving namers in society influence her on this.
ETA:
Also, I used to know a boy named Kelly and even when I asked him he said he’d never minded having a name that was used by more girls. He said that nobody looked at him and thought he was a girl so it was all good to him.
We used to have a Kelly on the boards here too and he loved his name.
