Sorry, I don't like it at all. It's not pretentious, just too much and it makes me think of candels. I much prefer it as a middle name. I like the flow of Emma Candelaria and Sophia Candelaria and I think it's a good idea to pair popular/common first names with more unusual/eccentric middle names.
Meh, Candelaria sounds better as a middle name to me :P
