Nicknames for Natalie
What do you think of Tillie or Talie as nicknames for Natalie?
Which do you prefer?
Girl in question normally goes by her full name, but sometimes likes affectionate nicknames. She doesn't like Nat very much and I thought Tillie might be a nice alternative. Thoughts?

Speaking as bearer of the name Natalie, there are other nicknames I would use before Tillie or Talie. However of the two I would use Tillie first.
Other variant nicknames I go by are:
Nattie
Nata
Nananatatalie (this one's deliberately over the top though)

I like Talie, but I don't really care for Tillie. It sounds a bit too cutesy to me, and I think of "Two Ton Tilly." Talie is a cute nickname, but not overly cutesy.

I think they both could work, but Talie makes more sense as it comes directly from the name.
What about Ali?
What about Ali?
There are so many Alis and I don't know if it fits her very well. That's a good suggestion though, thank you!
I LOVE TILLIE FOR NATALIE!
it doesn't make sense to the eye but it does to the ear!!! great idea!
I have been loving Tillie as a nn but not sure what for (i don't care for Matilda too much).
GO FOR IT!

Tillie sounds very good to me; Talie less so; and Nat not at all good. I suppose Lee might be a possibility?
No, she does not like Nat at all! I like Tillie because it works phonetically. Lee is not really her.
I think either would work. Talie would work a bit better than Tillie. Lie (lee, not ly) would work too.
Lee would work, but I'm not sure she's a Lee. I'll think about it, thank you!
