Roscoe
Didn't used to like this, but I heard this really great song by Midlake, and now I kind of like it. What do you think?

I dislike it because it's too surname-y for me, and also I live by a town called Roscoe.
I can see why a lot of people associate it with dogs, but I still can't help but like Roscoe a lot. I think it sounds friendly and raspy.
I've only ever known dogs named this. A lot of dogs actually. It may be the 2000s version of Fido. I discourage use on humans.
I had a suitcase named Fido once. And my husband's one was Rover. They had little wheels, and leads for pulling, so travel was like taking dogs for walks.
But I wouldn't name a suitcase Roscoe.

That is a brilliant idea!
(Used to know fish named Fido, Spot, and Rover actually.)

I like Roscoe. It's got an, "I dare you to like me" vibe to it. Fun!
