Owen is a terrific name. So is Adam. :-)
The names are a bit samey for me. Both are four letters long, vowel-consonant-vowel-consonant. But I'm more interested in how a name sounds with the surname and how well it will serve a child throughout their lives. They won't always be living under the same roof. So by those standards, I'd say go with Owen. Great name.
ETA: Just a thought -- Rowan would break up the vowel-consonant thing that Owen and Adam have.
