I have an odd obsession with this name. It enchants me. Oenone must be one of my favourite names. It has an unconventional beauty and glamour, and to me, it seems very cultured and sophisticated. It's so different from all other names. I have an admiration and sympathy for the mythological character (I first found the name in Margaret George's novel Helen of Troy). I love Oenone's look and its sound. I like names that have a lots of vowel sounds and few consonants, like Oenone, Iona and Eos. Oenone Cora is one of my favourite combos.
